Planning your visit
What are the Show opening times?
8.00am - 6.00pm on Sunday 30th & Monday 31st August 2026
What time should we arrive?
We recommend arriving early to miss the traffic and give yourself plenty of time to enjoy everything there is to see and do.
Is there a map of the Showground?
A map of the Showground will be available nearer the time.
Please be aware it's a large site and is mainly grass surface. The surface is uneven and sensible, flat footwear is advised. It's not the ideal site for wheelchairs, particularly in poor weather but mobility scooters are available for hire.
Is there public camping on site?
No, we don’t offer public camping on the showground. Camping and overnight stays are only available for authorised show participants where this forms part of event operations. All vehicles must be removed from public car parks at the show's close and gates will be locked. For camping locally we recommend Long Acres Caravan and Camping Park in Lingfield.
Please dress comfortably and appropriately for a family day out. Wear sensible shoes, as the showground is mainly grass and the surface can be uneven. Do dress for the weather too, whether that means waterproofs for a wet day or suncream, a hat and plenty of water in hot weather.
Is there any hard standing at the Show?
The Showground is used for livestock grazing throughout the rest of the year and hard standing is limited. The majority of the Showground is grass, although the main track through the middle of the Showground is a hardcore road track.
The Showground Team work throughout the year to ensure that the surface is prepared, but please wear appropriate footwear and be prepared for uneven ground. Stiletto heels not advised!
Travel and parking
How do we get to the Show?
The Ardenrun Showground is just off the A22 near Lingfield and Blindley Heath in Surrey and can be accessed by car or our complimentary bus service. It's easy to find and close to the M25 (6 miles south of Junction 6). It's clearly signposted.
The bus service to and from the Showground will be available from Lingfield Station, and a second bus from Edenbridge Kent Station for local residents and visitors arriving by train.
Timings will be confirmed here but are expected to be every 30 minutes through the morning from the stations and every 30 minutes from the Showground back to the stations in the afternoon. This service will be free of charge!
Is there a shuttle bus from the station?
Yes, ther is a free shuttle bus service to and from Lingfield Station and Edenbridge (Kent) Station. Full times can be found on our travel information page .
Yes, parking is completely free for visitors.
Will there be Blue Badge parking?
Yes, we have specific accessible parking at the Showground. Please show your Blue Parking badge to any of the parking attendants and they will direct you to the nearest space. Please be aware that blue badge parking is limited so arrive early to ensure a space. Full details can be found on our accessibility information page .
Accessibility
We do our best to welcome as many visitors as possible, but please note that the site is a large farm showground and most of it is on grass. Full accessibility information, including scooter hire, Blue Badge parking, accessible toilets and viewing facilities, can be found on our accessibility information page .
Can I hire a mobility scooter?
Yes! You can hire a mobility scooter from Advanced Mobility by clicking here or by calling 01274 297777. Scooter hire costs just £35 per day.
You MUST book in advance as this is a popular service with limited availability.
Advanced Mobility will be positioned at the public entrances on our southern and eastern sides; visitors requiring blue badge parking and wanting to use the scooter service are advised to follow the signs to Blue Gate off Ray Lane for closest access.
Can I get a carers ticket?
When attending together with the adult or child they care for, then a carer qualifies for free access to the show. You will need to upload proof of carer need during the booking process. The proof uploaded should be a copy of a current, valid Access Card bearing the +1 symbol, confirmation (dated within the last 12 months) that you are in receipt of PIP or similar disability benefits, or proof that you receive Carer's Allowance. Once the documents have been checked and approved you'll receive an email telling you how to download your tickets.
Food, facilities and dogs
Where can I get food & drink?
There will be delicious catering units all across the Showground catering for all tastes and dietary requirements. Most of our catering stands have gluten free and vegetarian options. Don't forget to check out the Food Hall which is even bigger and better this year and which holds some real gems of local producers.
Yes, please do bring along your own picnic and enjoy it by the side of the rings or in the catering areas. There are plenty of picnic benches on site and some super locations in which to enjoy your lunch.
Can I get cash at the Showground?
Most trade stands and food outlets will accept car payments. However, a little cash might be worth bringing just in case. We have a cashback facility in the tickets sales booth at Entrance Gate 3 (head towards the milking parlour for the cattle and the pig marquee) where the team will be pleased to help.
Are dogs allowed on the Showground?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome on the showground but must be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs are strictly not permitted in any of the livestock tents and must not be left in vehicles.
Tickets
Tickets can be bought here online in advance or on the gate on the day. Buying online is usually cheaper and will help you get through the gate more quickly.
Can I buy tickets on the day?
Tickets will be available on the day but we advise purchasing them online to skip the queue. Buying online in advance also means you benefit from our early bird discount and tickets bought online can be used on either day.
Can children have tickets on their own?
No, children must be accompanied by an adult.
If a child is attending solely with an approved carer and you are unable to book this online, please contact the Show Office before booking.
