Every year, we hear people say, "I remember when tickets were £10."
We do too.
The show has changed a lot since then and so has the cost of putting on an event of this size.
Today your ticket helps fund everything needed to create a safe, enjoyable weekend for thousands of visitors. From livestock areas and Main Ring attractions to medical provision, security, insurance, traffic management, marquees, toilets and all the behind-the-scenes work that makes the show possible. Most importantly, your ticket helps keep this wonderful tradition going.
The Edenbridge & Oxted Agricultural Show has been bringing people together for generations, celebrating farming, food, livestock and country life while helping children and families connect with the countryside.
We're really proud to be a charity. Any surplus we might make is reinvested into the show and distributed to local charities and community causes.
So when you buy a ticket, you're doing far more than paying for a day out. You're helping ensure this much-loved show can continue for generations to come.

Running a show…
Did you know it cost us £1.40 in 2025 for every person on site to ‘spend a penny’ in good quality, clean toilets? It’s more than £150,000 to have all the marquees we need. There’s a huge security team, amazing medics and people to help keep the traffic flowing well. Just the straw for the animal bedding costs nearly £5000!
With all our operating costs considered, it cost the equivalent of £35.43 for every paying visitor (including children) to run our show in 2025. That’s why in addition to the income from public tickets, the support of sponsors, members and trade stands is so important. It’s a huge, collective commitment to run a show and we’re so grateful for everyone’s support.
