Our 2026 Headline Act is REVEALED!
Fearless knights on horseback will charge into the Main Ring at this year’s Edenbridge & Oxted Agricultural Show, as the historic Bank Holiday event returns with two packed days of farming, food, horses, livestock, shopping and countryside entertainment.
Taking place near Lingfield (J6 M25) on Sunday 30th and Monday 31st August 2026, this unmissable highlight of the summer season will welcome visitors from near and far to enjoy one of the South East’s best-loved and best value days out.
The Knights of Middle England will headline the Main Ring, bringing medieval jousting, trick riding and fast and furious arena action to the showground. Around them, the Show stays true to its long-established agricultural roots. Watch livestock judging, equestrian competition, wander through a horticulture marquee bursting with colour. See the gundogs, terriers, hounds and archery in country sports, enjoy the hilarious Sheep Show, the Dorset Axemen, the incredible Giant Tortoises and family attractions galore filling the weekend.
Farmers and competitors will be preparing cattle, sheep, pigs and goats for their moment in front of the judges, with animals washed, trimmed and turned out to perfection for the show rings. This is by far the largest turnout of livestock in the region; visitors can get up close with the animals, meet the people who care for them and learn more about the breeds, skills and traditions at the heart of British farming.
The equestrian rings will once again be busy throughout the weekend, with horses and ponies of all sizes competing across showing, jumping, driving and traditional classes. From miniature horses to Shires, scurry racing to elegant carriages, the Show offers plenty for both serious equestrian fans and families enjoying the spectacle.
Away from the rings, visitors can wander through the displays for homes and gardens, explore vintage tractors, machinery and cars, watch the talented blacksmiths and farriers at work, see birds of prey, rabbits, poultry and guinea pigs and enjoy the atmosphere of a traditional agricultural show at the end of the summer holidays.
Food and shopping are also a major part of the day, with the Food Hall, local caterers and trade stands offering everything from country clothing, gifts and homeware to garden goods, pet products and local produce.
John Downing, Joint Chairman of the Edenbridge & Oxted Agricultural Show, said:
“We’re very excited to welcome The Knights of Middle England to the Main Ring this year. Their horses, skill and fast-paced displays are going to be a real highlight for visitors of all ages.
But the heart of Edenbridge & Oxted is still the farming, the animals, the competitors, the volunteers and the local businesses who make this show what it is. It’s a proper agricultural show, with all the colour, character and tradition people love and a spectacular day out for everyone. We're proud to bring people closer to farming and countryside life, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to our showground this August Bank Holiday.”
Early bird and discounted family tickets are available at www.edenbridge-show.co.uk and are valid for either day of the Show. Full-price tickets will also be available to buy on the gate.
