Call for experienced equestrian stewards!

Do you have previous stewarding experience and are available to help over the August Bank Holiday Weekend? We'd love to hear from you!

The bigger classes at the best shows rely on great stewards to help them run smoothly for competitors, judges, sponsors and spectators. We’re lucky to have a superb team around us for the E&O Show each year, but with prestigious new classes awarded to us for 2023 and with exciting changes to our equestrian timetable on the way we’re looking for capable and experienced new people who would like to join our volunteer stewards.

We offer a packed timetable of classes to include everything from minis to heavies, driving, coaching, in-hand showing, ridden showing, working hunter and showjumping. New for 2023 is a London International Horse Show qualifier offered for the BSPS Heritage Ridden Supreme Final. This is alongside a broad range of HOYS qualifiers and other very well-supported classes and championships.

We are looking to offer a warm welcome to new faces who would like to contribute their time and expertise to help us deliver a great experience on the day; people who will help keep our reputation for quality equestrian competition and a friendly place to visit.
In return we can offer...
• Up to 4 hours on duty: 1-day Steward badge
• Over 4 hours on duty: 1-day Steward badge & 1 voucher for lunch in our Members’ Marquee
• Full day on duty: 1-day Steward badge, 1 lunch voucher & 1 ‘any day’ guest badge.
