Please register for membership of the Edenbridge & Oxted Agricultural Show to receive discounted entry fees where applicable. You must have submitted and completed your membership order before entering the class in order to avail of the discount.
Each equestrian exhibitor will be charged a £5 first aid levy fee. This is compulsory for each exhibitor and will automatically be applied at the checkout.
Travelling Assistance
£45 travelling assistance will be awarded to exhibits that come forward in Heavy Horse classes E84, E87 & E94 - E97. A maximum of 2 animals per owner will be eligible for travelling assistance, with only one amount allocated per animal.
Stabling
Heavy Horses will be stabled within the horsebox park, close to Ring 5. Stabling is available for Shires and Heavy Horse exhibitors at the rate of £70 per box per night, or £120 for two nights, and will be refunded after the Show providing that the animal came forward in their class. This entitles the exhibitor to use the stable from 6.00pm on the night of reservation until 6.00pm the following day. Stabling must be booked and paid for at the time of making entries and is only available for the night before the horse(s) compete(s). Bedding will not be provided. Stabling is limited and provided on a first come first served basis, so PLEASE don't delay your booking.
Best Shod Heavy Horse
The competition, sponsored by The Worshipful Company of Farriers, will run concurrently with judging of the Shire Classes and Any Other Heavy Horse Breed classes.
Heavy Horse Parade
Please note the Heavy Horse Parade will take place in Ring 5 at 4pm on Monday 31st August. All heavy horse exhibitors are invited to take part in this parade with those forward included in a cash prize raffle to take place in the collecting ring.

CLASS RULES, REGULATIONS & QUALIFIERS
These classes are affiliated to and run under the rules of the Shire Horse Society.
The Shire Horse Society Silver Spoon Award
The Silver Spoon and a Rosette will be awarded to the Best Mare or Filly in the Shire Horse classes. Owners must be a member of the Shire Horse Society. No animal to be eligible to take more than one Silver Spoon during one year, the National Shire Horse Show being excepted. The winning animal must be registered or eligible for registration in the Stud Book or Grade B Register. The Shire Horse Council reserve the right to offer the Spoon only to persons approved by the Shire Horse Society.
