1st and 2nd placed prize winners of classes J1 - J4 will be eligible for this championship.

Monday 31st August 2026

Judging will commence from 9.00am, with a full timetable available from the Chief Sheep Steward on Saturday 29th August.

These classes will be judged on the presentation and turnout of both sheep (40%) and handler (60%). Entries accepted from both accredited and non-accredited sheep. Please note, if the handlers' sheep are not entered in any of the previous breed classes, you MUST book pens for them.

No entries permitted on day of event.

Prizes:   1st - £20.00 , and The Champion Junior Shepherd will be presented with the D.A.R.T.O.P. Challenge Tankard. (T154) , 2nd - Rosette
